Losing weight being on a liquid diet

Losing weight being on a liquid diet

Being on a liquid diet is the only way to consume lots of foods and lose weight at the same time. Liquid diets consist of whole food smoothies and juices with fruits and green veggies. 5 to 10 servings is the recommended daily intake of vegetables and fruits to get all the vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants the human body urgently needs to stay healthy. But what most people don't know is that just ONE green smoothie or ONE juice is sufficient to keep you healthy!

Advantages of a liquid diet

Being on a liquid diet also helps your intestines to digest properly because it's much easier for your digestive system to digest anything liquid than a solid food. And the blending and juicing process itself already "predigests" the foods because by that, the cellular walls of the ingredients have already been broken down. The positive effect of a liquid diet is that you aren't so tired after your "meals" since your digestive tract doesn't have to spend so much energy on its work (Do you remember how you've been after your last Christmas dinner? I think you KNOW what I mean!).  Another advantage of liquid diets is that the juices and smoothies are prepared in just a few minutes. You only need a blender or a juicer to get started.

Liquid diet versus underactive digestive system

Most people aren't aware of having an underactive digestive system: Their body isn't able to digest solid foods properly. As a result, the body doesn't get all the nutrients it should have. The foods, especially processed foods, that aren't properly broken down are stored as fat in the body cells and you GAIN weight instead of LOSING weight. You are constipated and your body can't expel the toxins it normally gets rid of very easily. In short, the only solution to the problem is getting started with a liquid diet.
